Cross-functional "Nucleus" Meetings

With so many different internal teams working on a partnership, it can be helpful to get all of these teams together to connect and see how they can help move the business forward.

This template can be helpful as you work with cross-functional teams to build momentum and consensus for work on partner opportunities.

Running the play

Monthly is a good cadence to have these sessions. It gives enough time for some meaningful work to get completed, and for new ideas and initiatives to begin.

How to know if this will be useful?
Nucleus meetings can be helpful when multiple internal teams are working in silo on a partnership. It gives teams an opportunity to learn from what other teams are doing and spot new areas for collaboration. They can also help if you are experiencing any of the below:

• Resource challenges
• Strategic projects are moving too slowly
• Teams are feeling "out of the loop"

Preparation (before the session)

Before the session, work with your internal teams to agree the below:

• What topics will be discussed?
• What would they like to learn from the session?
• What challenges, if any, are they having with this partner?

Running the play (during the session)

Build in time for new topics and relationship building, these are the people who will help and support the partnership, let them talk to each other.
